Trossard earns Arteta praise
The former Brighton man's clinical finishing and overall performance left Arteta purring in his post-match assessment, with the Arsenal boss hailing Trossard's versatility and composure in front of goal.
"Trossard, great player. He's a little magician," Arteta beamed per a post by Fabrizio Romano. "He can score on any surface and he's a big threat; so composed, so cool, he can play in different positions. It's just a joy to have him in the team."
Trossard's strike, coupled with a late Martin Odegaard goal, provided the perfect tonic for Arsenal, who had suffered a midweek setback in the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
The Belgian's impact since arriving from Brighton in the 2022/2023 January transfer window has been immediate, with his ability to operate across the frontline proving invaluable to Arteta's side as they battle on multiple fronts.
The Belgian has proven a fantastic signing for the Gunners, not just with his goals and assists, but with the way he links our play, his work rate, and his intelligence.
With Arsenal clinging to a slender lead at the Premier League summit, Trossard's magic may well prove decisive as the Gunners chase their first top-flight title since 2004.
The 29-year-old has scored nine goals and assisted one this season for Arsenal in the Premier League since he joined last season.
