Arsenal close in on Gyokeres
Arsenal is reportedly "very close to securing the signing of Viktor Gyokeres," with just the money issues needing to be resolved to finalise the deal, according to Portuguese publication Leonino as reported by Football London.
Sporting Lisbon has placed a £86 million release clause in the Swede's deal as clubs keep tabs on the forward.
Gyokeres was on the club's list of centre-forwards that they admire and value, but despite what some sources have suggested, nothing has happened.
However, it has been reported that Arteta admires the forward and a deal is close to being agreed with Lisbon.
Arsenal are going all out in the transfer market as they look to bring in quality players after losing the Premier League title to Manchester City.
