Arsenal have dropped two points in the English Premier League title race for the second consecutive game.

The Gunners started off brilliantly with two early games with Jesus and Odeegard finding the back of the net in the opening 7th and 10th minute of the game respectively.

Jesus only needed to tap in the far post as Partey and White combined brilliantly in the Hammer’s box.

Odeegard doubled Arsenal’s lead with lovely strike at the far post.

However, West Ham would pull one back before half time. In the 34th minute, Benrahma converted from the spot as Hammers ensured the first half ended 2-1.

In the Second half, Saka missed from the spot – potentially losing Arsenal’s golden opportunity to secure the three points.

A minute later, West Ham responded with Bowen finding the equaliser.

Arsenal are four points above second-placed Manchester City having played a game more.

City's FA Cup semi-final next weekend means the Gunners can extend that gap to seven points if they beat Southampton on Friday evening.

Arsenal face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in their following fixture.
