In this article, we take a look at the top ten Arsenal legends of all time.
Saka shines for Arsenal
In a blistering first half display from the Premier League side, Lens were blown out by a five-star performance.
Saka was heavily involved in two of the goals for Mikel Arteta’s side as they laid down a marker in the Champions League.
The 22-year-old assisted Gabriel Jesus for the second goal following Kai Havertz’s opener before he grabbed a goal to make ith 3-0 after just 23 minutes of play.
Saka would play for just 66 minutes before he was substituted after giving the French side a difficult time.
He created two chances, made one key pass but failed to complete the only dribble he attempted.
Benzema and Suarez link
Saka’s performance against Lens saw him join an exclusive list in Champions League history.
His goal and assist earned him a place with Real Madrid legend, Karim Benzema, and ex-Barcelona forward, Luis Suarez, as the only players to score and assist in three consecutive home matches in the Champions League.
The Arsenal star becomes the third player to ever achieve the feat, having putting PSV Eindhoven and Lens to the sword in the previous games.
Saka has now contributed to seven goals in just five matches in the Champions League for Arsenal this season.
Per the Sun, Saka could also join a repeat in the next Arsenal match at the Emirates to match another record set by Benzema in the 2011/2012 campaign.
