The Belgian was injured during the Gunners second pre-season game.

Mikel Arteta does not expect Leandro Trossard's injury to be something big.

The Belgian sustained a problem when the Gunners defeated the MLS All-Stars 5-0 on Wednesday. The forward, along with Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, Jorginho, and Kai Havertz, scored the goals for the Premier League side.

But Trossard was taken off in the 56th minute when he picked up a problem. Arsenal will start their new Premier League season with a game against Nottingham Forest in a few weeks, and the injury should be a concern for Arteta.

"He got a knock, and obviously we don’t want to take any risks at this stage. He had some pain, and we will see how tomorrow is, but I don’t expect it to be anything big."

Their next game will be against Manchester United, who will fly to New York before the Saturday match against the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Arteta is happy about the new signing, Jurrien Timber; "He gives you the capacity to invert, to occupy different spaces. He’s so comfortable on the ball in that phase, and he’s also got this aggression in the duels and that dynamism that I really like about him," the Spaniard said.

"You saw from the first action; he went and won the ball straight away on that duel, and he was ready to go. He’s been like that in the last few days – he’s playing really well with the team, and I think he’s going to be a really important player for us."
