The striker has attracted a number of clubs given his performance last season with Reims in France.

Mikel Arteta has said Folarin Balogun will be staying at Arsenal for now.

There were reports that the Gunners are looking for potential exit routes for Balogun, as many clubs are reportedly interested in the £50 million rated star. AC Milan, Marseille, and Monaco have been rumoured to be interested in the striker, but no club has yet made an official bid.

Balogun, who returned to Arsenal on Thursday night, was involved against Nurnberg and missed two chances as the clubs drew 1-1.

Well, this is what he has been doing, and that's why we gave him the minutes that he deserves to show what he can do," Arteta said after the game. "He's just staying here with us at the moment, and we will see what happens."

The Spaniard affirmed that they still have a lot to do in the transfer window, in which they have been linked with a number of players.

There are still a lot of things to do. Things have developed all the time in the last few years as well. We need to be really on alert. But we are really pleased so far," Arteta responded when he was asked about Arsenal's general transfer plans.

Balogun, Nicolas Pepe, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Cedric Soares are all available for Arteta ahead of next season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are close to making Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber's moves official. The North London club is also dealing with interest in Thomas Partey. The Ghanaian has two years remaining on his contract.

Recruiting another midfielder has not been ruled out should Partey eventually leave.
