Gyan, capped 109 times for Ghana, scoring 51 goals through a tweet shared on Tuesday afternoon, appreciated the gesture.
He added that he used the opportunity to urge the Ghanaian legislators to support his foundation by purchasing the memoir he released in 2023.

"We had a great conversation on how best the members can support my foundation by purchasing my memoir launched last year; it was a thoughtful gesture from Parliament. God bless our homeland Ghana," Gyan added.

Former Black Stars forward and captain Asamoah Gyan has tipped the youngsters who participated in the CAF African Schools tournament in South Africa.
The forward was also recognized at the Ghana Football Awards over the weekend, receiving a framed jersey with his favourite number three inscribed.
Gyan is currently marketing his memoir titled 'LeGyanDary', which prescribes his entire football career.
