Agba Baller Oshoala faces a race to be fit for the Champions League final.
Barcelona and Wolfsburg square off in the 2023 UEFA Women's Champions League final on Saturday, June 3 at the jam-packed PSV Stadion in Eindhoven.
After losing last year, Barcelona is in the final for the third time in four years and is determined to prevail.
In 2019 and 2022, there was a loss to Lyon, and their only joy was a thrilling 4-0 victory over Chelsea in 2021.
Barcelona was the presumptive favorite in Turin last year since they had a fantastic season before their 3-1 loss in the championship game.
They are once again the side to beat this year, with 29 goals in the group stage and wins against Roma and Chelsea in the knockout stages.
Oshoala and hamstring pain ahead of Barcelona vs Wolfsburg
Barça is accustomed to competing in such a prestigious European tournament, but it is less accustomed to doing so while encountering so many difficulties.
Super Falcons of Nigeria player Asisat Oshoala is in doubt for the Champions League final, according to Graham Hunter, a reporter for Barcelona.
According to a UEFA report, Oshoala experienced hamstring discomfort during that loss and will now need to pass a test to be ready for the championship game.
