Nigeria Super Falcons superstar Asisat Oshoala is one of the greatest players from Africa and recently made history at the FIFAWWC.
Nigeria Super Falcons and Barcelona Femeni superstar Asisat Oshoala is winning on and off the pitch.
Oshoala has reached a landmark on social media after leading the Super Falcons to a credible outing at the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup, FIFAWWC.
Nigeria competed in Group B which was the group of death featuring Olympic champions Canada, debutantes Republic of Ireland, and co-hosts, Australia.

The Barcelona forward proved in Australia that she remains one of the greatest to have played the game in Africa.
Oshoala made FIFAWWC history as the Nigeria Super Falcons delivered an impressive outing in the ninth women’s world cup.
The 28-year-old wrote her name in the history books when she led Nigeria’s Falcons to a memorable victory against co-hosts Australia during their second match in the group stage.
She came off the bench to inspire the Super Falcons to an excellent 3-2 win, with the former Arsenal star scoring the all-important winner.
That goal against the Maltidas was her only goal in the tournament but saw her name penned in the history of the competition.
She became just the only African to have scored in three different FIFAWWC.

That historic goal proved decisive as the Super Falcons made it to the round of 16 where they eventually crashed out despite a brave display against European Champions England.
However, Oshoala is now celebrating a different milestone, this time, on social media.
The Super Falcon became the first African sportswomen to hit the one million mark on Instagram according to a report by your number one sports website, Pulse Sports.
She has now taken to her Instagram page to celebrate with a simple message of appreciation to her fans and followers.
“Thank you.” Oshoala, who is also known as ‘agba baller,’ posted on her page.
