With Rasmus Hojlund set to complete a move to Manchester United, Atalanta have made moves to secure his replacement
Serie A side Atalanta are already moving on from Danish Striker Rasmus Hojlund, who is moments away from sealing a transfer to Manchester United.
Atalanta ready to move on from Hojlund
La Dea are set to replace the 20-year-old starlet with West Ham’s Italian forward Gianluca Scamacca and could announce the completion of the deal soon after the Red Devils announce Hojlund’s capture.

Atalanta wasted no time in seeking an alternative to Hojlund, beating the likes of Inter and Roma to Scamacca’s signature after the forward made his intent to leave West Ham clear.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the Italian will now join up with Atalanta for €25 million upfront and €5 million in bonuses, a fraction of what La Dea will receive for Hojlund’s move to Manchester United.
Scamacca looking to move on from West Ham disappointment
Scamacca will be glad to end his one-year journey at West Ham after failing to make the grade with the Premier League side and struggling to replicate the form that tempted the Hammers to pay €36 million for him.
The 24-year-old Italian was only able to score eight goals in the 2022/23 season with the Hammers after a knee injury kept him out of the side for large parts of the second half of the season. and will look to revive his career with a move back to his native land.
His last season in Serie A saw him score 16 times in 36 games for Sassuolo, and his new side, Atalanta, will hope he can replicate such form for them as well.
