Uganda Cranes assistant captain Khalid Aucho has spoken out on one of Africa's top strikers, currently also his teammate Fiston Mayele.

On-form striker Fiston Mayele and defender Yannick Bangala scored the goals in either half of the game.
"Fiston is a top forward; what makes him stand out is his competitive nature; he always wants to challenge defenders heads on; if he puts his mind to something, he will ensure he does it," Aucho told Pulse Sports in an exclusive interview.
"Belief is key in life, and Mayele has that every day he walks in for training and match days; he is mentally strong."
The DR. Congo forward was in blistering form last season for his side, scoring 17 league goals as Young Africans retained the league; he also played a commanding role in Young Africans' continental campaign, scoring seven goals as they reached the final.
Even though the 'predator' still has a year remaining on his current contract, he has been a subject of discussion, being linked to several clubs on the African continent like Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs, Sudanese giants Al Hilal and from Saudi Arabia.
Khalid Aucho also appreciated former coach Nabi Nasreddine, who he closely worked with for two seasons until he left the club this month, opting not to renew his contract.

Nabi left his role at the club after Young Africans released an official statement to that effect on Wednesday evening in which they thanked him for the two years he has been at the club.
The Tunisian tactician, who is yet to announce his next destination won six titles while at the club and also led 'Tiimu ya Wanainchi' to the finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, where they lost to Algeria's USM Alger on the way to goals rule.
