Kiggundu told Pulse Sports that it wasn’t a good display from his side, but they will get revenge in the cup when both teams meet up, adding that they also aim to win the league remaining games and finish third.
“Yes, Aucho got one over us, but it’s not done yet; we are meeting again in the domestic cup here in the semifinals, and we shall take revenge,” Kiggundu told Pulse Sports.
“Our aim remains to win all our remaining three games so that we finish third.”
Singida Big Stars FC face KMC, Ruvu Shooting Stars and Namungo FC in their final three games.
In contrast, Young Africans, who now only require a win to reclaim their league title, face Dodoma, Mbeya and Tanzania Prisons to wrap up the campaign.
