As Vipers head to Morocco to debut in the CAF Champions League group stage, the attacking midfielder will be turning a new leaf in the FUFA Big League.

David Bagoole has described his over two seasons stay at Vipers "tough" as he officially announced his departure to second-tier side Jinja North United.

Bagoole joined the Venoms in August 2020 after two seasons at Busoga United.

During that time, the player christened "Tong Po" promised to "help the club defend the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) as well as reach the CAF Champions League group stages.” He struggled to for playing time.

As Vipers head to Morocco to debut in the CAF Champions League group stage, the attacking midfielder will be turning a new leaf in the FUFA Big League.

Bagole joined Jinja North United and he is expected to debut on Thursday against Ndejje University in Bugembe.

"It's been a tough two and a half years at the club because I felt that I have not contributed like I expected," Bagoole wrote in his farewell statement.

He also noted that his best moment was winning the 2021 Uganda Cup: "I as well take lessons from the bad moments for they prepare me for the challenge ahead," he adds.

Journeyman

Bagoole launched his career at Busembatia Town Council before crossing to SC Villa in 2014.

He moved to Kenya Premier League giants after just a year and then subsequently to La Passe in Seychelles in July 2016.

Bagoole has also played for BUL, Police, the now-defunct Baza Holdings and OC Bukavu Dawa in DR Congo.
