The Dockers are currently eighth in the league standings, but could move as high as second should they beat Kakamega Homeboyz and other results go in their favor.

Bandari FC players have sent Kakamega Homeboyz a “come baby come” plea ahead of their crunch FKFPL fixture at the Mbaraki Grounds in Mombasa on Saturday afternoon.

The Dockers are currently eighth in the league standings, but could move as high as second should they beat Kakamega Homeboyz and other results go in their favor.

Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the fixture against the FKF Cup holders, captain Abdallah Hassan and his teammates Andrew Juma, Joseph Ochuka and Fidel Origa have all expressed confidence in how they have prepared well for the match, and they are all optimistic they will get all three points.

“We have prepared well for the weekend game. It will be a tough game but everyone is ready and we will emerge with a win,” Juma said.

“We thank God we were able to finish the game in Nairobi well. We returned to camp in Nairobi and we are prepared well for the upcoming game,”  Kenya international Abdallah Hassan said.

“We have pushed ourselves for the game. We got an away point last time and we hope we will get a win at home this weekend,” Joseph Ochuka, who was named man of the match for his heroics in their previous match against  KCB said.

“We have prepared well for the game. It will be a tough one and I hope the fans will turn up. We will play well in order to get the win.”

Defensive midfielder Fidel Origa has raved about the “good spirit in camp” and has sent a stellar warning to Homeboyz that they want nothing but three points.

“Our spirit has been good in the camp,” Origa said. “What we want is three points and nothing more.”

Since the appointment of Twahir Muhiddin, Bandari have lost just one league game, which came during the match against Tusker in the opening round of fixtures for the season.

They have since registered two wins and a draw against Sofapaka, Bandari and KCB respectively.
