Bandari forward David Sakwa was called up to the Harambee Stars squad just a few weeks after making his top flight debut and he is looking forward to a successful outing.
Bandari attacker David Sakwa is ecstatic after receiving his first call up to the Harambee Stars squad for the upcoming Malawi Four Nations tournament barely two months after signing for the league challengers from FKF Division One outfit Kiminini United.
Sakwa had been on trials with Bandari for several weeks last December, impressing the coaching staff, which led to his signing for the John Baraza-led team.
The forward has been recognised for his exceptional performance in both the FKF Division One League and FKF Premier League this season, earning him a potential spot in the national team's upcoming matches.

FOOTBALL Michael Olunga’s form sweet music to Engin Firat’s ears ahead of Four Nations tournament
Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga maintained his hot scoring streak by bagging a brace on Friday which should delight coach Engin Firat heading into the Four Nations tournament.
“I feel good. It is the first time I have been called up to the national team. I did not expect it to be this soon, but I feel fantastic,” Sakwa said after his second training session with the side.
Sakwa has been learning under Baraza and his assistant coach Jerim Onyango - who is also the goalkeeping coach for Harambee Stars - but has learnt new things already under Stars coach Engin Firat.
“I am learning from the coach. He is very experienced and there are things I am adding to my game I did not have before thanks to him," he added.
Sakwa started his playing career with Matunda Sports Club in Kiminini in the Sub County League, leading the club to three successive promotions, including an elevation to the third-tier last season, before the team swapped names to Kiminini Combined.
