Kenya Police FC head coach Francis Baraza has blamed poor set-piece defending as the reason behind the loss to league leaders Gor Mahia in a league match played at the Kasarani stadium on Saturday.
Speaking after his side’s 1-0 loss to K’Ogalo, Baraza revealed that, although they executed the strategy he asked them to use in the match, their poor set-piece defense ultimately cost them the match.

“We came upwith a plan that worked well in the first half,” he said. “In the second-half, I spoke to my players, and we spoke a lot about set-piece defending,” he added.
“Gor Mahia have won their last four or five matches through set-pieces, and we paid the price. We will work on that in training in order to try and do better in the oncoming matches.”
