Barcelona are reportedly in talks to sign a young defender from the MLS.
Barcelona are reported to be in advanced talks with MLS side LAFC over a move for Senegalese centre-back Mamadou Fall.
The 20-year-old defender spent the last season on loan at Villarreal, and although he only played once for the first team, he made 25 appearances for the Yellow Submarines' second team.

More on Barcelona
Meanwhile, Brighton are reportedly close to completing a deal for Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati on a loan move for the rest of the season.
Due to Barcelona's financial situation and Fati’s high wages, they were said to have placed him on the transfer list, but the player insists on continuing at the club.
However, a recent report by the reliable Fabrizio Romano surfaced today, revealing that the Seagulls are pushing for a loan move for the Spain international.
Although his initial stance was to continue at the club by any means, Fati is reportedly open to a move to the AmEx, and Brighton's Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi is said to have been an influential factor.
It is said to be a straight loan for the rest of the season, without a buy option or obligation.
