En Nesyri gave Sevilla hope
The first-half of the game was a tightly contested affair, with neither team giving much away.
The game opened up more in the second-half with both teams exchanging blows.
The deadlock would be broken in the 71st minute of the game when Chimy Avila struck past Yacine Bonou in goal for Sevilla after a rare assist with a header.
Sevilla upped the ante, but Osasuna appeared to be the team more likely to score the next goal. The home side already had thoughts of the next round before En Nesyri connected with a Suso cross to finish past the goalkeeper.
En Nesyri's goal came in 90+4 minutes, forcing the game into extra time.
Abde fires Osasuna past Sevilla
It was a case of destiny delayed, not denied, for Osasuna as they took the lead again in extra time and eventually knocked Sevilla out.
Osasuna's Barcelona loanee was the hero of the night. The Moroccan took matters into his own hands nine minutes into extra time, finishing off an individual move to the left side of a flat-footed Bono.
Sevilla stepped up their game, trying to get another equaliser, but Jagoba Arrasate's men held on for a date in the semi-finals. Sevilla on the other hand, miss a chance to qualify for Europe through the cup, as their current position makes it unlikely for them to do it through the league.
