Barcelona are reportedly looking for solutions to offload unwanted youngster Vitor Roque.
LALIGA giants Barcelona are reportedly evaluating a potential swap deal with Manchester United to acquire their long-time target and discard youngster Vitor Roque.
Roque failed to impress
Barcelona signed Roque from Atletico Paranaense as a response to Real Madrid’s signing of Endrick, and the 19-year-old came highly recommended by his agent and long-time Barcelona associate Andre Curry.

Ex-Barcelona and AFCON star accused of making twin brother play in his place in the team
A football club in Romania are currently investigating allegations that they fielded an ineligible player, using his twin brother as a replacement.
He was signed for €40 million with an additional €20 million in add-ons, a significant outlay for a club in Barcelona’s financial situation. The move was sanctioned by current sporting director Deco.
However, he has only managed less than 300 minutes this campaign, as Xavi Hernandez, the club’s manager, does not seem to fancy him. New reports from Catalunya today claim the sporting structure of the club does not believe him to be reliable and has decided he will leave this summer.
Swap deal with Manchester United
Barcelona will look for a way out for Roque in the summer in a way they can recoup their investment; however, a deal with Manchester United also presents an interesting opportunity.
Before Barcelona snapped him up, Roque was on Manchester United’s radar. According to a report from Spanish publication MD, Barcelona could take advantage of this interest to acquire a long-time target of theirs as well, Mason Greenwood.
The report claims Barcelona could look to exploit this unique opportunity by having Roque go to Old Trafford, while Greenwood, currently on loan, will move to Catalunya.
