Murphy hails Grealish performance
Grealish gave one of his best performances this season against Liverpool. He aided his group both offensively and defensively. Grealish was essential in preventing Liverpool from scoring the game's second goal because he blocked a cross from Mohamed Salah that would have allowed Jota to increase the lead.
The rest is history as City sped to a fantastic three-point haul against the Reds shortly after Grealish was there to set up Julian Alvarez for a leveller. Barry-Murphy emphasised that he will share the film of Grealish's heroics with his EDS players to illustrate the commitment and effort required at the highest level.

Grealish admits to suffering from illness during Man City’s demolition of Liverpool
Manchester City’s Jack Grealish has revealed he was unwell before the 4-1 win over Liverpool and struggled with the illness during the game.
Speaking on Matchday Live, “For me, Jack Grealish’s performance was on another planet in terms of what he did. We will probably forget what he did when it was 1-0 running back the length of the pitch to stop Liverpool going 2-0 up. That was a key moment in the game.
“He earned the right to get that standing ovation based on what he did. I will be showing our young players the images of what he did in terms of running back and he also made a massive tackle on Harvey Elliott in the opening stages of the second half.
Grealish performance is an inspiration to other players
The 27 years old set up the leveller for City and also was on target against Liverpool as Guardiola’s side secured a vital three points as they pushed further for the league title.
