The 26-year-old joined Atalanta from Leipzig in the summer of 2022 after struggling to establish himself at the German club. He shot himself to superstardom when he scored a hat-trick in the Europa League final, helping Atalanta beat Bayer Leverkusen to win their first trophy since the 1960s.
He has now placed himself on the radar of a number of top clubs, with Bayern Munich the latest to register interests
Bayern registers interest
According to a report from Sky Germany, the Bavarians want to reclaim their Bundesliga title after finishing third last season behind Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart, and they are said to have identified Lookman as an ideal option to strengthen their team.
As Pulse Sports reported, teams interested in Lookman will be able to get him for a relatively low price for a player of his quality, as Atalanta set an asking price of €25 million.
Per the report, Bayern are willing to go as high as €30 million for the former Everton forward; however, nothing concrete has happened.
