The German champions are desperate for a striker and have earmarked the Tottenham man as a key target although their offer falls below Spurs’ valuation.
Bayern Munich have reportedly submitted an offer worth £60 million plus add-ons for Harry Kane.
The Tottenham Hotspur star and England captain has just one year left on his contract and was linked with a move away from the club this summer, with Manchester United also interested in the 29-year-old.

The K'Ogalo star lost the contest only by a goal but is confident ahead of the next campaign.
Bayern, who are led by former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, are keen to bring in a forward this summer and Kane is one of their priority targets for the position.
The Athletic reported the German giants, who reportedly feel they can secure Kane for around £86 million all in, had made their bid.
The striker has been heavily admired by United as a potential signing since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge of the club, while Erik ten Hag is also known to be a big fan.

Manchester City were strongly linked with a move for Kane two years ago but were met with strong resistance by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and eventually signed Erling Haaland instead last summer.

Levy, who is known as a notoriously tough negotiator, is desperate not to sell to a Premier League rival despite United's interest so it remains to be seen how he reacts to the bid from Bayern, although he is likely to want upwards of £100 million for the 29-year-old.
Kane's links with United have cooled over recent weeks with the Red Devils pursuing deals for players in other positions due to financial factors, amid ongoing uncertainty over their takeover process.
Meanwhile, despite winning the Bundesliga after a dramatic final day of action, it was a tumultuous campaign for Bayern who are still struggling to fill the hole left by the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona last summer.
Although they were the league’s top scorers, their leading marksman was Serge Gnabry with 16 goals, two ahead of striker Eric Choupo-Moting.
