The Brazilian was lucky not to receive a red card as United failed to win points to consolidate their top four position.
Peter Schmeichel expressed his frustration with Manchester United’s Antony for his reaction during a Premier League match on Thursday.
Antony’s actions angered the former Red Devils' custodian, who told the Brazilian to ‘behave himself’ and that his actions did not befit a player for the club.
The Dane further said the United forward was lucky not to be red-carded in a game that the away side lost in the later stages of the Amex duel.
Antony needlessly hacked down Alexis Mac Allister, the scorer of the 99th-minute penalty that downed United, with 20 minutes remaining before he squared up to Lewis Dunk, who took issue with the challenge.

And, while Ten Hag didn't question the penalty, he particularly criticized the general officiation of Marriner, especially the freekick that brought the corner.
Meanwhile, Brighton’s manager, Roberto De Zerbi, was relieved that his side finally got a win over United, who eliminated them from the FA Cup after a semi-final penalty shootout.
"I think there is a god of football because we deserved to win in the semi-final and we lost on penalties, here we won with a penalty for us. Both games I think we played better than United, and the last result was unfair," said De Zerbi.
