On the international stage, Mugabi has earned 16 caps for Uganda, marking his debut in a friendly match against São Tomé and Príncipe in March 2018.

Uganda Cranes defender Bevis Mugabi achieved a significant milestone by reaching his 100th appearance for Motherwell FC over the past weekend.

The towering 28-year-old defender celebrated his centenary of games with Motherwell in a thrilling 3-3 draw in the Scottish Premiership at Fir Park on Saturday.

Mugabi has been a vital presence in head coach Stuart Kettlewell's squad, particularly in the heart of the defense, during his four-year tenure in Scotland with Motherwell.

He made the move from English side Yeovil Town in 2019.

Over the course of his 100 games for Motherwell, Mugabi has made a notable impact, scoring five goals. He netted twice in the 2020/21 season and twice again in the 2021/22 season, with one more goal added in the previous season.

In his earlier years, Mugabi honed his skills at Fulham and Southampton, achieving a memorable feat by winning the U21 Premier League with the latter during the 2014/15 campaign.
