Uganda Cranes central defender Bevis Mugabi scored one of the goals as his side Motherwell FC drew 3-3 with Dundee FC in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

At Fir Park, the host took the lead as early as the sixth minute through Mika Biereth before the visitors turned the game on its head courtesy of Lyall Cameron and Owen Beck goals at the half-hour mark and in the 34th minute, respectively, to take the lead at the interval.

In the 68th minute, Mugabi headed in Motherwell’s equalizer and moments later, they were reduced to ten men following Harry Paton’s red card in the 72nd minute.

With a numerical advantage, Dundee took the lead for the second time in this game thanks to Zach Robinson’s 88th-minute strike.

Despite being a man down, Motherwell snatches a point through Conor Wilkinson’s leveller in the 97th minute.

It is worth noting that Mugabi has continued to impress for the Steelmen, and he is an integral member of Stuart Kittlewell’s team.

Last week, the 26-year-old was named in the Scottish Premiership team of the week after a good performance in a 1-1 stalemate against the reigning champions Celtic.

His goal against Dundee was his first this season, but he has scored six goals for the Well in all competitions since joining Yeovil Town FC in 2019.

Mugabi’s Motherwell is positioned eighth on the 12-team table with 14 points from 15 games and will visit Ross County on Tuesday, December 5, for their next outing.
