The Thika-based side piled misery on Bandari with two unanswered goals, while the game between KCB and Muhoroni Youth had to be abandoned.

Bidco United piled misery on Bandari with a 2-0 win, while the game between KCB and Muhoroni Youth had to be abandoned in the 90th minute after fans invaded the pitch to attack the Bankers’ technical bench.

Bandari just never got going with Bidco dominating proceedings throughout the match, and in the 22nd minute, went ahead through Sharrif Musa, who slotted the ball home when he got on the end of goalkeeper John Otieno’s assist.

The Dockers could not find a way to calm down and restore parity, and in the 32nd minute, were 2-0 down when Thomas Wainaina capitalised on Joseph Ochuka’s parry after Chris Opondo’s cross gave the Bandari custodian problems.

This forced Bandari coach Twahir Muhiddin to make a triple change at halftime to salvage something from the game, bringing on Hassan Abdallah, Nahimana Shassiri, and Salim Swaleh.

The team tried to create chances, but Bidco made it a damp squib. Opting to stay compact all second half, which was enough to earn them all three points.

The game now means that Bidco are now fourth on nine points on a goal difference of positive two, giving them a good place to build on after the international break.

In another FKFPL match, the match between KCB and Muhoroni Youth was abandoned after Muhoroni fans invaded the pitch to attack the Bankers’ technical bench during stoppage time.

KCB looked set to maintain their winning momentum with a win over Muhoroni Youth at the intimidating Muhoroni Stadium.

Haniff Wesonga scored for KCB from a Herit Mungai delivery, which looked enough to give the Bernard Mwalala-coached side all three points and take them sixth on 11 points, but Muhoroni fans caused trouble when they attempted to attack the Bankers’ technical bench.

More details on the outcome and decision on the final result will follow.
