Five FUFA Big League teams participated in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 on Sunday, with four of them securing a spot in the Round of 16.
Ndejje University FC emerged as the biggest winners of the day, thrashing Blue Star FC 4-0 at Bombo Military Barracks Grounds.
Adjumani Town Council FC also made it to the next round after a 2-1 win against Northern Region's Elite FC at Paridi Stadium in Adjumani.
Police FC and Calvary FC won their matches 1-0 against Pajule Lions FC and JLOS FC at Pajule Playground in Pader and Midigo playground in Yumbe, respectively.
On the other hand, Lugazi were eliminated after suffering a 1-0 loss to the joint record champions, Express FC, at the Maximum Grounds in Luzira.
Out of the 15 teams already through to the Round of 16, six belong to the FBL, including Police, Ndejje University, Adjumani T/C, Calvary, Mbarara City, and Kitara.
Kataka FC has a chance to make it seven if they can pull off a surprise victory against joint record winners, KCCA FC, in the final Round of 32 game at Mbale Stadium on Monday.
