Kehl said last week that the club was yet to receive any proposals from any other clubs for the England international, but following the season’s conclusion, the Dortmund chief thinks the situation will be resolved in the “near future.”
“I assume that there will now be movement,” said Kehl, speaking to Bild. “We know that the player is of great value to us, and that he has an ongoing contract with no release clause. Everything else will be revealed in the near future. We are preparing for different scenarios.”
Bellingham joined the Bundesliga club in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City. His current contract expires in the summer of 2025.
