Things went from bad to worse for Everton boss Frank Lampard who watched his side lose yet another game, this time defeated by a Jarrod Bowen double at West Ham.
Enough blame to go round for Everton's failings
Everton are spiraling out of control and while the blame for yet another sorry defeat will fall at Lampard’s feet, anyone with any perspective will know that a change of manager is not an automatic fix for the club's decline.
Owner, Farhad Moshiri must shoulder some of the blame as the Merseyside club has become a laughing stock under his stewardship and things only look likely to get worse from here.
Jarrod Bowen scored twice in the first half for West Ham and they look a much better team when he is fit and firing. These were his first goals since October and they were both worth their weight in gold.

Everton just not good enough
Familiar failings plagued Everton, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin isolated and Demarai Gray ineffective. Their best chance fell to Yerry Mina, who scooped over when the game was goalless, and they were shaky as soon after West Ham responded to the crowd’s demands for more urgency.
“No Communication, No Plan, No Vision” was the message from the Everton away end at London Stadium as Frank Lampard's side suffered a sixth defeat in eight league games.

The second half was really a non-event and the result not only keeps Everton in 19th place but it increases the pressure on Lampard as he clings on for dear life.
