He has been a free agent after being released by KCCA, over a month back, following the expiry of his contract.

Aheebwa joined the Kasasiro Boys from Mbarara City in 2020 but failed to cement down a consistent starting place.

At the FUFA Big League champions, Aheebwa will link up with his former coach, Ssenyondo with whom he worked at Mbarara City over three years back.

He has become the tenth signing for the club following the arrivals of Chrispus Kusiima from Gadaffi FC, Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye from Vipers and Jude Ssemugabi from Mbarara City.

Kitara has also netted down Hamim Semakula, Ibrahim Magandaazi, Luwalo Kipper, Sabir Yasin and Shafiq Magogo from UPDF FC.
