As tributes continue to pour in from different individuals appreciating Uganda Cranes forward Nelson Senkatuka for reaching the 50-goal milestone, his club fans decided not to be left out.
The fans presented Senkatuka with a portrait of the forward's face after Soltilo Bright Stars' 2-0 league win against Busoga United FC at Kavumba recreation ground on Wednesday afternoon.
Michael Sserugo shared a picture of himself, Senkatuka and the portrait on his Twitter handle and captioned it with words of appreciation.
"We fans (Soltilo Bright Stars) yesterday (Wednesday) were so happy to appreciate our goal machine (Nelson Senkatuka) who reached the 50 goals for our club; thanks goes to the fans." The tweet read.
The former Proline FC and KCCA FC forward also showed his appreciation to the fans for the gesture through his official Twitter handle.
"I'd like to thank the fans of Soltilo Bright Stars for this special presentation in recognition of reaching the 50 goal milestone; thanks for your support and encouragement through the years; I am humbled." He tweeted.
The 50 goals are across all competitions, but the 25-year-old forward is four goals short of another milestone, scoring 50 goals in the league alone, which he hopes to achieve in the remaining league games like he told Pulse Sports in a previous interview.

SUPL How far can Bright Stars’ all time top scorer Senkatuka go after hitting 50 goals
Senkatuka, who hit the mark on Friday when he scored in Bright Stars' 2-2 draw away to BUL FC at the Njeru Technical Centre, told Pulse Sports that it had been a long time coming.
"The 50 goals are across all competitions; I have scored 46 in the league, so I want to reach the 50 league goals milestone; that would also be a great achievement."
Nelson Senkatuka has had two stints at Soltilo Bright Stars, with the first between 2017 and 2019 when he joined the side from Proline FC.
He then left for Moroccan side Athlétic de Tétouan Sports Club but failed to nail a starting berth before returning to re-sign with Soltilo Bright Stars in 2021.
The forward also won the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup in 2015 with the Uganda Cranes in Ethiopia.
