Former Arua Hill SC defender Bright Vuni has inked a one-year-deal with his former employers UPDF FC.
Vuni, a free agent, agreed terms with UPDF after he was recently released from Arua Hill SC over a contract dispute in which he cited non-payment of salaries of up to eight months.
Vuni had reportedly pitched camp with his former side as he entertained suitors.

FUFA declared the defender a free agent following Arua Hill’s failure to defend itself in the case in which Vuni accused the club of failing to pay his salaries for eight months.
Prior to joining Arua Hill in 2021, Vuni featured for UPDF FC. He is a product of the army side’s youth structures, having started out at Young Simba, a club affiliated to the UPDF.
Vuni was among the key defence kingpins for Kongolo, earning a nomination for defender of the season in the Pilsner Uganda Premier Awards 2021/22.
