Manchester United vs Brighton
The Red Devils were looking to bounce back from a poor defeat to Arsenal before the international break at the Emirates.
Buoyed by an impressive 31-game unbeaten run, Erik Ten Hag’s men started brilliantly but failed to make their early dominance count.
Brighton grew into the game after the first 20 minutes and never looked back as two goals in either half from Danny Welbeck, who scored against his former club, and Pascal Gross gave the visitors a 2-0 lead.
United started the second half as the did the first but it was Brighton that extended their lead when super-sub, Joao Pedro made it 3-0 with an excellent finish.
Tunisian youngster, Hannibal Mejbri, came off the bench to pull one back with a stunning strike to make it a more respectable scoreline.
