The home side started the game brightly as they hoped to shock Liverpool with an early goal. However, it was the away side that scored the opening goal in the 33rd minute when Curtis Jones converted a killer cross from Salah with a precise low shot that went into the bottom right corner.
Three minutes later Liverpool doubled their lead from a great play by Mohamed Salah who released Curtis Jones in space on the edge of the box. He spots the keeper off his line and coolly puts the ball into the left side of the goal.

This loss leaves the Foxes languishing in the relegation zone alongside Leeds and Fulham and Ndidi is likely to join Paul Onuachu and Joe Aribo in the Championship next season.
