Liverpool are now aware of the price tag for their preferred Mohamed Salah replacement, according to reports.

Liverpool have reportedly been told the financial requirements to land their preferred replacement for Mohamed Salah as they prepare for the Egyptian's inevitable exit.

Salah's impending exit

While the 32-year-old is playing out of his skin this season, reminding the Liverpool hierarchy of his exceptional quality despite his advanced age, he has yet to be offered a contract renewal by the club.

Salah, along with Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander Arnold, will see their Liverpool contracts expire at the end of the season. While there's confidence among Liverpool faithful that Van Dijk and Trent will renew, the Egyptian international is expected to leave.

He was thought to be angling for an exit to Saudi Arabia when his contract expires; however, his recent comments suggest he is open to continuing, as he revealed he was yet to receive an offer of extension from the club's leadership

Liverpool ready for Salah's exit

Since the prospect of Salah's possible exit to Saudi Arabia reared its head, the Reds have been evaluating the market for a permanent replacement for the capable Egyptian.

According to German publication Bild, they have identified Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens as an ideal candidate and are prepared to go all out for him. However, according to the report, Dortmund want €100 million for the former Manchester City academy graduate and will not budge on the fee.
