BUL FC has decided against appealing FUFA’s decision to replay their Stanbic Uganda Cup fixture against SC Villa.
The edible oil manufacturers had won the match 1-0 but the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Committee nullified the results and ordered a replay after a successful petition by SC Villa.
The Jogoos prayed for a replay after second assistant referee Khalid Muyaga wrongly cancelled Charles Bbale’s goal deep into the second half.
An official at the club hinted that the club’s executive body would sit and decide their next line of action but as things unfold, BUL has accepted to replay the match.
The club posted a build-up to the match to be replayed on Saturday 11th of this week.
“We didn’t appeal [the FUFA CDP’s decision] meaning that we’re playing the match,” The club’s chief executive officer Joseph Mutaka confirmed their final decision to Pulse Sports.
The winner of the tie will face Onduparaka four days later in Arua in the round of 16.
