Uganda Premier League money bag BUL Football Club has continued with their spending spree in the current transfer market by roping in youngster Edrine Opaala from Busoga United.

The youngster graduated through the Jinja Senior Secondary School systems to Busoga United junior team and then the senior team in 2019.

While there, Opaala partly worked with new BUL FC head coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko who is a great admirer of the attacker.

“I know his ability, I know the kind of football he plays and the kind of passes he crafts; he will actually add creativity to our midfield,” Kikomeko commented about his newest acquisition.

“He is a product of Copa Coca Cola schools’ tournament and majority of these players have excelled, and they have gone as far as playing professional football,” the coach adds.

Opaala has signed a two-year contract that will tie him at BUL until 2024/25.

He joins a number of his former teammates, including Lawrence Tezikya, who played with him through the ranks at Busoga United.
