BETTING TIPS Bundesliga betting tips and odds for this weekend

Kolawole Babatunde 23:53 - 26.01.2023

As gameweek 18 approaches, the Bundesliga has reached its halfway point. After shocking results in the last gameweek, we bring you the best betting tips for the Bundesliga this weekend.

Bayern Munich have recorded consecutive draws since the league resumed this year and have seen their lead at the top cut to three points as the chasing pack intensifies their pursuit.

Union Berlin are the biggest beneficiary of teams faltering around them, as two consecutive wins saw them rise to second, and they are waiting to pounce on any slip-up from Bayern.

Schalke 04 are rooted to the bottom with nine points, with Hertha Berlin the other team in the relegation spots. VfL Bochum currently occupy the relegation playoff spot but have the same points as Stuttgart, who are ahead due to a superior goal difference.

RB Leipzig vs. Stuttgart

Friday, January 27, 20:30 (GMT+1)

Betting tip: Leipzig to win

Odds: 1.45 on Bet9ja

Leipzig are on a 10-game run in the Bundesliga, last losing in September. The Red Bulls recorded an emphatic 6-1 win against the league’s whipping boys, Schalke 04, in the last gameweek and are brimming with confidence to score goals. This comes after they drew with league leaders Bayern Munich in their first game of 2023.

Stuttgart held Leipzig to a 1-1 draw in their first game of the season, but both teams have had contrasting fortunes since then. While Leipzig is flying and only four points off first place, Stuttgart is fighting relegation. Leipzig are overwhelming favorites to win this one.

Leipzig have won seven of their last 10 Bundesliga games

Freiburg vs. Augsburg

Saturday, January 28, 15:30 (GMT+1)

Betting tip: Freiburg to win

Odds: 1.50 on Bet9ja

Freiburg had a forgettable game against Wolfsburg in their first game of the year, while they followed it with a 1-1 draw at home to Eintracht Frankfurt. Christian Streich’s side are now looking to bag their first win of the year, and they look primed for it against an Augsburg side that they have beaten in their last four meetings.

Although Augsburg bagged a victory in their last game, they don’t have enough to stop Freiburg at home.

Hertha BSC vs. Union Berlin

Saturday, January 28, 15:30 (GMT+1)

Betting tip: Union Berlin to win

Odds: 2.20 on Bet9ja

Union Berlin are flying at the moment and will prove too hot for a Hertha Berlin side currently battling relegation. Union Berlin have also won their last four meetings with Hertha, scoring two goals or more in these fixtures. Hertha has lost five of their last six Bundesliga games and two of their last three home games. At 2.20 odds, this is a great offer, and we are taking it with both hands.

Bayer Leverkusen vs. Borussia Dortmund

Sunday, January 29, 17:30 (GMT+1)

Betting tip: Over 2.5

Odds: 1.53 on Bet9ja

Nine of the last 11 encounters between these teams have produced over 2.5 goals, and this trend is expected to continue. Eight of the last ten encounters involving Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga have produced over 2.5 goals, while the same outcome has occurred in nine of their last ten encounters across all competitions. Leverkusen have also seen goals reign in their recent games, with five of their last seven games producing over 2.5 goals.
