The early exchanges saw both sides creating chances, with Javi Hernández and Juanmi testing Barcelona's goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.
Despite Cádiz's early pressure, Barcelona gradually found their rhythm and began to assert control. Conan Ledesma denied Héctor Fort's dangerous cross, serving as a warning to the hosts. Barcelona capitalized on their momentum with a stunning goal, as Félix executed a spectacular overhead kick from Marcos Alonso's corner to break the deadlock.
As the first half progressed, Barcelona continued to press for a second goal, with Víctor Chust making a crucial goal-line clearance to deny Fermín López. The visitors maintained their dominance into the second half, with Juanmi's effort ruled offside and Chust coming close with a header. Although Barcelona had opportunities to extend their lead, they were unable to find the back of the net.
In the closing stages, Cádiz pushed for an equaliser, but Ter Stegen remained composed, making a crucial save to preserve Barcelona's lead. The Blaugrana's defence held firm until the final whistle, securing a clean sheet and their sixth consecutive league win.
Despite the narrow margin of victory, Barcelona's performance showcased the resilience of their squad, providing optimism for the remainder of the season under manager Mauricio Pellegrino.
