Khalid Aucho and his mates only had a few hours to pop the champagne to celebrate their back-to-back league title triumph after their 4-3 win over Dodoma Jiiji FC on Saturday afternoon.
'Tiimu ya Wanainchi' touched down in Rustenburg on Sunday afternoon ahead of the return leg, which is set to take place on Wednesday, 17th May, at the Royal Bafokeng stadium.
Goals from Bernard Morrison and Aziz Ki ensured that Young Africans took a 2-0 lead in the first leg in Dar-es-Salaam.
Head coach Nabbi Nassredine had earlier on highlighted that despite having a 2-0 aggregate lead, the return leg won't be an easy game.
"I am happy for the players, technical team and the club management upon winning the league again,” Nabbi said after his side's 4-2 win over Dodoma Jiiji.
“However we need to remain focused ahead of our return leg. It won't be a simple game that's for sure." he added.
Young Africans will be relying on in-form forward Fiston Kalala Mayele for goals; the Congolese national has scored five goals so far in the competition, providing an assist in as many games.
Marumo Gallants will be hoping their league's top scorer Ranga Piniel Chivaviro with ten goals, leads their hunt for goals.
In a related development, match tickets for the second semifinal pitting USM Alger and ASEC Mimosas, which is tied 0-0, are sold out.
The match, which will take place in Algiers, will have a capacity crowd in attendance.
