Ancelotti has currently collected 40 wins in the UEFA Champions League as coach of Real Madrid and could equal the record set by Los Blancos great Miguel Munoz, who has won the most matches in the competition with Los Merengues with 41 successes.
In addition to the record, a win for Real Madrid over Napoli will ensure the top spot in Group C and a favourable placement in the draws for the round of 16.
