Raja finishes top of Group C with 16 points, Simba follows with nine, Horoya with seven and Ugandan champions Vipers with only two
Raja Casablanca thumped Simba Sports Club 3-1 in Morocco to finish their group assignments in the CAF Champions League without defeat.
Mohamed Boulacsout scored late in the game to add on an earlier Hamza Khabba’s brace to end Group C in style.
Khabba capitalised on an earlier defensive blunder by Kenyan defender Joash Onyango to fire in the opener just a minute into the break.
Jeans Baleke got the Tanzaniaans back in contention two minutes after the breather with a calm chip.
However, Simba succumbed to pressure in the 68th minute, with Onyango pulling down Khabba, who had rounded him off to enter the box.
Khabba stepped up and sent Taifa Stars keeper Aishi Manula the wrong way.
Substitutes Boulacsout and Abdelraouf Benguit combined well in the 86th before setting up the latter for a fine finish to complete the job.
Raja finishes top of Group C with 16 points, Simba follows with nine, Horoya with seven and Ugandan champions Vipers with only two after losing their final game to the Guineans 2-0 in Bamako, Mali.
The Moroccans are three-time champions after winning it in 1989, 1997 and 1999, respectively.
