Although Gor Mahia have had an average tournament, Al Hilal coach Florent Ibenge has revealed two things they are very great at.

Al Hilal head coach Florent Ibenge has explained why teams must be wary of Gor Maha despite their underwhelming show in this year's CECAFA Kagame Cup taking place in Tanzania.

Al Hilal have been rampant all tournament. They beat Djibouti Telecom 2-0 in their first match, before thrashing Red Arrows 5-0 in their second match to consolidate a first place finish before wrapping their group engagements with another victory over Gor Mahia.

K’ogalo certainly had an average tournament. They first lost 1-0 to Arrows in their first match, before drawing 1-1 against a frankly ordinary Telecom in their second match last Saturday.

Results from elsewhere meant their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals ended before the last group tie, with their next focus now being the Coal City International Cup in Nigeria.

However, Ibenge has explained why Gor Mahia must not be taken for granted, revealing the two things the Green Army are very good at.

“It was a very good game Gor Mahia and Red Arrows. There's something in them that will soon come out,” the gaffer said.

“Gor Mahia keep the ball well and they want to try and play football. They are tough, but sometimes in a game things turn out very differently. A complete pre season will lift them up to the level where they will really trouble teams.”

The top teams in each group automatically qualify for the semifinals, while the second best team in any of the groups takes the last slot in the knock out stage.

Uganda’s SC Villa who have 5 points will be hoping that Red Arrows suffer defeat or pick a draw if they are to qualify for the knock out stage as the best runner-up.

The regional tournament is sponsored by the Sudan Football Association (SFA), Dar Port through the Tanzania Ports Authority, Azam TV and the Rwanda President Paul Kagame. The champions will pocket US$30,000, the runner-up US$20,000, and the third placed US$10,000.
