The Pride of Rivers have turned the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium into their home turf after another win over Dakkada.
NPFL champions Rivers United sealed another away win in the 2023 NPFL season after a come-from-behind win over Dakkada FC in Uyo.
United went, saw and defeated their hosts 2-1 in a week four encounter to seal their third win of the season in Uyo.
Naibe Akpesiri and Nyima Nwangwa were the heroes for the Pride of Rivers as they scored the two goals which saw them cancel out Isaac George’s early opener for Dakkada.
The victory sees Stanley Eguma’s side pick up their second consecutive win in Uyo against Dakkada after that five-goal thriller last season.
With the win, Rivers United have opened up a four-point lead at the top of the Group B table after three wins and a draw in four matches.
