Doue attracting interest
He is regarded as one of the next big stars, with many clubs keeping an eye on him. Clubs like Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have been previously linked to him, with the German giants even submitting an offer.
The Bavarians had a €35 million bid rejected by Rennes, who are said to be holding out for a figure significantly higher than that. According to GFFN, Les Rennais hope to make a total package of around €60 million for the youngster.
Chelsea and Tottenham in the race
Given the Ligue 1 side’s ask, Premier League clubs are at an advantage, given their economic might.
According to L’Equipe, The Blues, and their London rivals Tottenham have registered interest in the youngster and have immediately shot to the top of the race for his signature.
The Lilywhites are looking to add an offensive talent to Ange Postecoglou's side, while for Chelsea, the desire for Doue is part of a broader transfer strategy that prioritises young talents.
