Chelsea secured a deal for the winger in June from Palmeiras on an initial fee of £29m, plus performance-related bonuses.

Chelsea are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Brazilian teenage sensation Estevao Willian next summer.

The Blues confirmed in June that they had agreed to sign the teenager, completing the transfer in the summer of 2025.

Chelsea secured a deal for the winger, who made his senior debut for Brazil last month agreeing with Palmeiras on an initial fee of £29m, plus performance-related bonuses.

Estevao Willian breaks Neymar record

The 17-year-old Brazilian winger has been impressing with his performances for Palmeiras and has broken a record previously held by Neymar.

Estevao recently scored one goal and assisted another in Palmeiras' 5-3 victory over Juventude, which marked his eighth and ninth goal involvements in just six league games.

His impressive goal involvement stats have earned him recognition, surpassing Neymar's record for the most goals or assists in a single season by a player aged 17 or under in the Brazilian top league.

Recall that Neymar previously held the record with 16 goal involvements during his time at Santos.

Estevao wants to reach the highest level of football

Estevao himself is aware of his potential and has expressed his ambition to reach the highest level of football.

"I know my potential, I know that I can do even more. And, of course, we are slowly looking for it.

"I think I have the potential to be my best self. And the best thing for me, God willing, is to be at the World Cup and be the best in the world. I think that depends a lot on me," he said.

Chelsea's decision to sign Estevao is based on his promising talent and potential. The club believes that he can become a top-class player and make a significant impact on their team in the future.
