The first round of talks between Chelsea and former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann have reportedly taken place as the Blues look to secure a permanent managerial appointment.
Two weeks ago, informal talks were reportedly held between Julian Nagelsmann's representatives and Chelsea in the wake of the sacking of Graham Potter as the Blues built up a shortlist of potential targets.
Now it is believed that list has been withered down to a significantly smaller number and the former Bayern Munich boss, Nagelsmann features near the very top.

According to 90min, Chelsea directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, have now personally met with Nagelsmann to discuss his vision for the club and come to a conclusion on whether he could be the ideal Potter replacement, long term.
The report further revealed that Nagelsmann and former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique are currently the two leading candidates for the role with there being no clear favourite. That picture will indeed become clearer in the coming weeks.
