Manchester United make a 3rd bid worth ₦57b for Chelsea's Mason Mount
Manchester United have reportedly returned with an improved bid for Chelsea's Mason Mount despite having two previous offers rejected.
According to the Athletic's David Ornstein, the West Londoners have now rejected the offer as it is below their valuation of the player.
They sent a counter-proposal; however, it is lower than the counter-offer for the second bid, signifying that both parties are moving their positions and are close to an agreement.
The latest ask from Chelsea is £58+7 million, in guaranteed and add-ons respectively. The Red Devils are said to want the deal resolved as quickly as possible because they do not want the player to miss pre-season.
