Chelsea could not have found a better way of clinching their fifth consecutive title and giving their manager Emma Hayes a deserved farewell than a massive win over Manchester United.
The Blues thrashed their rivals Manchester United 5-0 to claim the title on goal difference from their title rivals Manchester City.
For Emma Hayes, there was no better way to close the Women's Super League season than this, even though it was not the spectacular conclusion many had hoped for.

This has been, in an odd manner, one of Hayes' most tumultuous and demanding seasons with the team.
It had seemed for most of the past few months that Chelsea was losing the league. Hayes even went so far as to give up the title to Manchester City following their 4-3 loss at Liverpool.
However, Chelsea had a path back in after Arsenal's triumph at the Joie Stadium four days later, so they were asked only once.
After defeating Bristol City 8-0 and Spurs 1-0, their only remaining task was to seal a win on the last day of the season.
According to reports from Daily Mail, In less than two minutes, Chelsea took the lead thanks to Mayra Ramirez, and it was obvious that this was going to be their day.
Ramirez who returned from injury assisted the second and third goals and scored the fourth before half-time.
Early in the second half, there was a fifth goal, and in the last moments, there was a sixth and then the final whistle.
Chelsea claimed the title with an advantage on goal difference over Man City despite being level on point with the Citizens.
