Chelsea are reportedly set to turn attention to Brighton's Moises Caicedo and Leandro Trossard
After spending £140 million in the January transfer window so far, Chelsea's business is apparently not done yet with the club reportedly targeting Brighton duo, Moises Caicedo and Leandro Trossard.
The Blues are looking to continue to bolster the squad under the free-spending board led by Todd Boehly who have now reportedly identified their next targets.
Belgian forward, Trossard is available for a transfer after a public falling out with Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi while Chelsea have been linked with a move for Ecuadorian midfielder Caicedo for a while now.
Chelsea targets Caicedo and Trossard
According to a report on Dailymail, Chelsea are interested in Brighton duo, Moises Caicedo and Leandro Trossard and could make a move for both before the January transfer window shuts.
Leandro Trossard is the easier or both targets as the Belgian forward currently has issues with Brighton boss De Zerbi, leading to his agent putting out a statement essentially declaring him available for a transfer.
The 28-year-old was dropped from the Brighton team that thrashed Liverpool 3-0 at the weekend and has since been training alone.
With 18 months left on his current Brighton contract, Trossard is more likely to leave this window, especially with Chelsea's reported interest.
Trossard has also been linked heavily with Tottenham and Arsenal who also registered interest in hopes of adding much-needed squad depth.
Caicedo on the other hand remains a key player for the Seagulls with two-and-half years still left on his current deal, Brighton will want a premium fee if at all they were to let him go.
Chelsea have earmarked the 21-year-old central midfielder as the ideal long-term replacement for the ageing N'golo Kante whose current contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the season.
